Plymouth Printing has the manufacturing capacity to handle client needs. Since 1998, we have invested nearly five million dollars to open our plant in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and rennovate our Cranford, New Jersey facility. With two strategic modern locations, totalling almost 100,000 sq. ft. and capable of expansion, there is extensive label and insert manufacturing horsepower. These two production facilities offer the benefit of three shifts, and equipment that provides backup support for each other. Both practice strict security measures, are ISO-compliant, and operate under current good manufacturing practices (cGMP).
Serving the pharmaceutical and related healthcare industries for 75 years, we are acutely aware of and fully understand our clients’ needs and concerns for high quality products and services. We address these concerns and needs through strict adherence to cGMP’s using a quality system that is based on Total Quality Management (TQM) and ISO 9002-1994 philosophies. Our standard of performance is to meet or exceed client’s expectations every time. Manufacturing employees are empowered and responsible for maintaining product quality by following documented standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and the use of written documentation that include sampling plans, in-process inspections, checklists and batch record accountability that traces finished products back to the raw material suppliers’ lots.
Files can be received via email, disk or CD, and through our FTP site. Users can only gain access to this Prepress server with a user name and password assigned by the Plymouth Prepress System Administrator. Our top of the line printing and finishing equipment is extremely reliable and versatile; the breadth of our equipment enables us to handle a very broad product line. Efficiency and productivity are stressed within our operation, maximizing our output and allowing us to pass on quality and cost savings to our customers. Recently, for example, we were able to eliminate liner breakage and further reduce production down time on our customer’s packaging line, by suggesting a different material than the one our client initially specified.

Plymouth Printing's Electronic Prepress department is set up as an in-house service bureau to satisfy the needs of our clients. Our Prepress department is a Macintosh based system with the latest versions of computer programs from companies such as Adobe, Quark and Macromedia.
We have several utility programs for virus protection, bar code placement, daily backups and enhancements to major software packages.
